Can't Find Your Repair?
Apple Watch Series 9 Screen Replacement
£165
Repair Description
Cracked your Series 9 screen? This is our most requested Series 9 repair. The glass, touch layer and display are bonded together as a single sealed unit, so even a small crack often leads to dead spots where the screen stops responding, or moisture finding its way in a few weeks later.
The Series 9 display is exceptionally bright - twice as bright as the Series 8 - so fitting the correct quality replacement genuinely matters here. We use properly matched screens, then reseal your watch with fresh waterproof adhesive so it keeps its water and dust protection. Most are done the same day, with a 12-month warranty.

Apple Watch Series 9 Battery Replacement
£89
Repair Description
Watch no longer lasting the day? That's the battery reaching the end of its useful life - completely normal after a few years of daily charging. These were designed for around 18 hours per charge, and the signs it's on the way out are sudden shutdowns around 30%, or heavy overnight drain.
We fit a certified high-capacity battery, verify it's reading correctly, and reseal the watch so it stays water-resistant. If you've spotted the screen lifting slightly at a corner, please book in promptly - that's a swollen battery and it's better sorted sooner than later.

Apple Watch Series 9 Charging Repair
£89
Repair Description
Watch won't charge, or only charges when placed just right? Your Series 9 charges wirelessly through the back of the case, so the likely causes are sweat corrosion where the charger sits, a worn charging cable, a fault in the internal charging components, or a battery too worn to hold power.
We test the charger, then the cable, then the watch itself in sequence - rather than swapping parts and hoping. That means you only pay for what's actually failed. Every charging repair gets a full charge cycle on the bench before it's returned to you.

We examine your watch thoroughly, find the true cause, explain it and confirm the full price before any work starts. And if we can't fix it, you don't pay a penny.

Apple watch Series 9: Brighter & Smarter
Released in September 2023, it brought a much faster S9 chip, on-device Siri, and a display that reaches 2,000 nits – twice as bright as the Series 8, and easily readable in direct sunlight. It also introduced Double Tap, the gesture that lets you pinch your finger and thumb twice to answer calls or stop a timer.
Both of those matter for repairs. A budget replacement screen simply won’t reach that brightness, so a badly-sourced part leaves you with a noticeably duller watch than the one you bought. And Double Tap relies on sensors inside the watch working together properly – careless repair work can stop the gesture responding at all.
We fit correctly matched displays and test Double Tap, the sensors and motion detection before your watch goes back. It should feel exactly as it did before the damage.
Blood Oxygen App Missing? It Might Not Be Broken
Here’s something that confuses a lot of Series 9 owners, and it’s worth checking before you book anything.
Because of a US patent dispute, Apple disabled the Blood Oxygen feature on Series 9 watches sold in the United States from January 2024 onwards. Watches bought in the UK and Europe were never affected – Blood Oxygen works normally on them. So if your Blood Oxygen app has vanished or won’t take a reading, the likely explanation is that your watch is a US import rather than a UK model. That’s a software restriction, not a hardware fault, and no repair can restore it.
If your watch is a UK model and Blood Oxygen has stopped working, that’s different – usually damage to the sensors in the back of the case, which we can look at properly. Not sure which you’ve got? Send it in and we’ll tell you for free.

Which Apple Watch Series 9 Do You Have?
Open the Watch app on your iPhone, tap General, then About to find your model number.
| Model | Size | Type |
|---|---|---|
| A2978 | 41mm | GPS |
| A2980 | 45mm | GPS |
| A2982 | 41mm | GPS + Cellular |
| A2984 | 45mm | GPS + Cellular |
Quick tip: a red ring around the Digital Crown means you have a Cellular model. No ring means GPS only.
Screens and batteries differ completely between 41mm and 45mm, so give us your model number and we’ll quote accurately first time.
The Problems We Fix Most Often
- Cracked screens. The clear number one. Aluminium models break more easily than the stainless steel versions, which use tougher sapphire glass.
- Worn batteries. Close behind. The always-on display keeps the screen lit for much of the day, which works the battery harder than most people realise.
- Charging faults. Nearly always sweat and grime building up between the back of the watch and the charger.
- Health readings not working. Blood Oxygen, ECG and temperature all rely on sensors in the back of the case, so damage there is the usual reason.
- Double Tap not responding. Sometimes a settings issue, sometimes a sensor fault – we’ll tell you which for free.
- Water getting in. Fine for swimming when new, but seals stiffen over time. Hot showers, saunas and seawater are where watches tend to fail.
What Happens When You Book
- Free check. Screen, touch, crown, buttons, sound, sensors, Double Tap and charging all tested so we find the real fault.
- Fixed price. Exact cost and realistic timescale before we start. Nothing proceeds without your approval.
- The repair. Quality parts, correct tools, and a proper waterproof reseal every time.
- Tested again. Full function check and complete charge cycle before it’s packed.
Your data is never accessed, and your watch is never wiped without your permission.
Repair or Replace? Our Honest View
Repair, in almost every case. The Series 9 runs Apple’s current software, watchOS 26, so it’s a fully up-to-date watch receiving new features and security updates. There’s nothing dated about it.
A screen or battery replacement costs a small fraction of a new watch, takes a few days, and saves you unpairing, setting up from scratch and losing your Activity history. Stainless steel models are an even easier call given what they cost new. We’ll also be straight when repair isn’t sensible. Serious water damage or a very heavy impact sometimes can’t be fixed reliably, and we’d rather say so than take your money.
