What a repair actually costs
Most repair shops make you ring for a price. We publish ours across iPhone models and more than 250 other devices. iPhone screen replacements start at £45 and batteries at £39 - an iPhone 13 screen is £69, an iPhone 16 screen £99. Samsung Galaxy A-series repairs run £49-£149, S-series £59-£399, and Z Fold and Z Flip inner folding displays £199-£599. Parts, labour, VAT and the warranty are all included in the quoted price.
The faults we see most
Cracked screens, dead pixels and unresponsive touch
We stock OLED and AMOLED display assemblies for popular iPhone, Samsung and Google Pixel models, so most screen replacements are same-day. A cracked digitiser, ghost touch, green or pink display tint and backlight failure are all separate faults with different fixes - we diagnose which before quoting. Face ID and True Tone are preserved wherever the hardware allows.
Battery degradation and unexpected shutdowns
If Battery Health has dropped below 80%, your phone shuts down in cold weather, or iOS shows a "Service" message, the cell has reached the end of its charge cycles. A replacement restores full-day life for a fraction of a new handset. From £39, usually within the hour.
Charging port and connection faults
Charging only at certain angles is almost always a Lightning or USB-C port packed with pocket lint, not a failing battery. We clean, test and replace ports, and repair the charging IC on the logic board when the fault sits deeper than the connector.
Liquid and water damage
Speed matters more than anything here. Our process is full disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning of the logic board, corrosion treatment and component-level repair. Turn the device off, don't charge it, and don't use rice - it does nothing for corrosion already forming on the board.
Board-level and micro-soldering repair
No power, boot loops, backlight failure, audio IC faults and touch disease need a microscope and a soldering station, not a parts swap. This is the work most high-street shops decline - and the reason customers send us devices other repairers have already returned as unfixable.
Laptops, MacBooks and tablets
Cracked iPad glass, MacBook display assemblies and butterfly keyboards, SSD upgrades with data transfer, hinge repairs and thermal re-pasting on HP, Dell and Lenovo machines.
Genuine, OEM or aftermarket - and why it matters
Screen quality varies enormously and most shops won't tell you what they're fitting. We use certified or genuine Apple parts on iPhone repairs where available, and tested Grade-A assemblies otherwise. Both carry the same 12-month warranty. Cheap aftermarket panels are why a £40 screen loses touch response within two months.
