The reason almost always comes down to the part being fitted, not the labour. This message appears because each of these components is paired to the device’s internal serial number at the factory. For a screen, this notification is generally cosmetic. For a battery, the notification is usually paired with a battery health screen that simply shows “unknown part” rather than a percentage, though the battery still charges and functions normally. Does using non-OEM parts void your warranty?
