Repair Description

Cracked your Series 11 screen? It happens more often than you'd think on a new watch - people are less careful before the first knock. Apple gave this model a ceramic-coated front that's twice as scratch-resistant as the Series 10, but scratch resistance and crack resistance aren't the same thing, and a hard impact still breaks it.

Because the glass, touch layer and display are bonded as one sealed unit, even a small crack often causes dead spots or lets moisture in later. We fit properly matched displays and reseal your watch with fresh waterproof adhesive so it keeps its full water and dust protection.

Repair Description

The Series 11 is the first Apple Watch rated for a full 24 hours per charge - a real jump from the 18 hours every previous model managed. That's useful to know, because it means expectations are higher: if yours isn't getting close to a day, something genuinely isn't right.

On a watch this new, a battery that underperforms is usually a fault rather than normal wear, so it's worth having checked properly. We test the battery health first and tell you honestly what we find before recommending anything.

Apple Watch Series 11 Charging Repair

Repair Description

Watch won't charge, or only charges at a certain angle? Your Series 11 charges wirelessly through the back of the case, so the usual causes are a worn or damaged charging cable, debris where the charger makes contact, a fault in the internal charging components, or a battery problem.

We test the charger, then the cable, then the watch itself in that order rather than swapping parts and hoping. That way you only pay for what's genuinely at fault. Every charging repair gets a full charge cycle before it comes back to you.

Apple Watch Series 11 Repair: Check Your Warranty First

The Series 11 launched in September 2025, which means many are still inside Apple’s one-year limited warranty, and plenty of owners took out AppleCare+ at purchase. Before booking anything with us, it’s genuinely worth checking what you’re already covered for.

Two things to know:

  • Apple’s standard warranty does not cover accidental damage. A cracked screen from a drop isn’t covered, so you’d pay Apple’s out-of-warranty repair fee – which is typically far more than an independent repair.
  • AppleCare+ does cover accidental damage, subject to an excess fee. If you have it, use it.

Where we usually work out better value is accidental damage without AppleCare+, or anything Apple would quote a full replacement price for. Do bear in mind that an independent repair will end any remaining Apple warranty on the device – that’s true of any repair shop, and we’d always rather you knew upfront. Not sure what you’ve got? Ask us and we’ll talk you through it honestly.

Scratch-Resistant Isn’t Drop-Proof

Apple made a point of the Series 11’s toughness, and it’s a fair claim – the aluminium models have a ceramic coating over the Ion-X glass that makes the front roughly twice as scratch-resistant as the Series 10.

But scratch resistance and impact resistance are two different properties. That coating stops keys, zips and desk edges leaving marks. It does very little against the force of a watch meeting a tiled floor or a door frame. Cracked screens remain the most common Series 11 repair we see, and that’s not a reflection on the watch – it’s simply physics.

Titanium models go further, using sapphire glass, which is significantly more impact-resistant than any aluminium model. Still breakable, but it takes considerably more to do it.

Which Apple Watch Series 11 Do You Have?

Open the Watch app on your iPhone, tap General, then About to find your model number.

Model Size Type
A3331 42mm GPS
A3333 46mm GPS
A3335 42mm GPS + Cellular
A3337 46mm GPS + Cellular

Quick tip: a red ring around the Digital Crown means you have a Cellular model. Series 11 Cellular models are also the first Apple Watches with 5G.

Careful here: the Series 11 uses the same 42mm and 46mm case sizes as the Series 10, so the two are easily confused. They are different watches with different parts, and a Series 10 screen will not do. Always give us your model number rather than just the size.

A Full 24 Hours: What That Means for Your Battery

Every Apple Watch from the original through to the Series 10 was rated at 18 hours per charge. The Series 11 is the first rated for a genuine 24 hours – enough for a full day plus a night of sleep tracking without reaching for the charger.

That matters when judging whether something’s wrong. On an older watch, mediocre battery life is usually just age. On a Series 11, a watch that struggles to reach the evening is behaving abnormally, and worth investigating rather than accepting. We check battery health as part of every free assessment and tell you the actual figures, so you can see for yourself whether it’s a fault or simply heavy use.

Hypertension Notifications Not Showing? It Needs Time

The Series 11 introduced hypertension notifications, which look for patterns that may indicate high blood pressure. It’s one of the most useful things this watch does – but it doesn’t work straight away.

The feature analyses data over a 30-day period before it can notify you of anything, and you need to wear the watch regularly, including overnight, during that time. So a new or recently repaired watch showing nothing here is completely normal. If you’ve worn it consistently for over a month and the feature still isn’t working, that’s worth a look – usually it points to the sensors in the back of the case. We’ll check it for free.

Aluminium or Titanium? It Affects Your Repair

The Series 11 came in two case materials, and the front glass differs between them:

  • Aluminium – ceramic-coated Ion-X glass. Lighter, more affordable, excellent against scratches
  • Titanium – sapphire glass. Noticeably tougher against impact, and a premium watch well worth repairing

Sapphire displays cost more than Ion-X, so tell us your case material when you book and we’ll give you an accurate price straight away.

The Problems We Fix Most Often

  • Cracked screens. The overwhelming majority of Series 11 repairs. New watches take knocks before their owners adjust to wearing them.
  • Impact and drop damage. Sometimes the screen survives but something inside doesn’t – touch response, sensors or charging can all be affected by a hard fall.
  • Charging problems. On a watch this new, more often a faulty cable or charger than the watch itself. We always check the accessory first.
  • Water damage. The Series 11 is fine for swimming, but not for saunas, hot showers or high-pressure water. Damage here needs dealing with quickly.
  • Health readings not working. Blood Oxygen, ECG and hypertension notifications all rely on sensors in the back of the case, so damage there is the usual cause.
  • Speaker and audio faults. Muffled calls or distorted playback, often after water exposure.

Repair or Replace? Our Honest View

Repair, without question. The Series 11 is Apple’s newest watch. Replacing one because of a cracked screen makes no financial sense whatsoever – a screen replacement is a small fraction of the cost, and you keep the watch you chose.

The only real question on this model is who repairs it. Check your AppleCare+ position first, as we’ve explained above. If you’re not covered, or Apple’s quote doesn’t stack up, that’s where we come in.

And if we ever think a repair isn’t in your interest, we’ll say so. That honesty is why most of our work arrives through recommendation.
