Why do Pixel 7 Pro screens crack so easily at the edges?
Because it uses a curved display. On a flat screen a side impact meets the metal frame, but on a curved panel the glass wraps around the edge, so the display itself is exactly where the phone lands. The Pixel 7 Pro was the last curved Pixel for this reason, and Google moved to a flat panel on the 8 Pro. A case with a raised lip makes a real difference on this model.
Is the Pixel 7 Pro the only Pixel you replace back glass on?

Is a Pixel 7 Pro still worth repairing?

The screen at £169 is worth weighing against what the handset is now worth used. My Pixel 7 Pro takes hazy photos. Is the camera broken?
Check the lens cover first. The Pixel 7 Pro camera bar stands proud of the body and takes the impact when the phone lands face up, so cracked or scratched cover glass over perfectly healthy modules is very common. That is a much cheaper repair than a module. Clean it properly with a microfibre cloth before booking anything, because a smeared lens explains a fair share of these complaints.
Will a screen replacement affect the fingerprint reader on my Pixel 7 Pro?
