Galaxy S26 Plus Back Glass Replacement
£79
Repair Description
The larger rear glass panel on the Samsung S26 Plus gives the device its premium look and feel - but it also means more surface area that can crack or shatter on impact. Beyond the cosmetic issue, a broken back panel compromises the structural integrity of the device and reduces its resistance to dust and moisture.
Our S26 Plus back glass replacement uses specialist heat removal tools and strong OEM-grade adhesive to safely extract the damaged panel and fit a perfectly matched replacement.

Repair Description
The Samsung S26 Plus features an upgraded triple-lens rear camera system with a larger sensor configuration than the standard S26, making camera faults particularly frustrating for photography-focused users.

We replace individual lenses, full camera modules, and lens covers depending on the fault, and run comprehensive image quality and video tests across all lenses after every repair.

Galaxy S26 Plus Battery Replacement
£79
Repair Description
The S26 Plus ships with a larger battery cell than the standard S26, designed to power that bigger display through a full day and beyond. When that battery starts degrading - showing signs like faster drain, unexpected shutdowns, overheating, or slow charging - the impact on a device you rely on this heavily is significant.
Our Samsung S26 Plus battery replacement service fits a high-capacity OEM-grade cell calibrated specifically for the S26 Plus power system, fully restoring your all-day battery life. We also run a post-replacement charge cycle test to confirm everything is performing as it should.

Galaxy S26 Plus Charging Repair
£75
Repair Description
The USB-C port on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus handles not just charging but data transfer, DeX connectivity, and fast-wired power delivery - so when it starts playing up, the knock-on effect goes beyond just a charging issue. If your S26 Plus charges slowly, cuts out mid-charge, only connects at a specific angle, or isn't recognised by your computer, our charging port repair service will diagnose and resolve it.
We inspect for physical damage, debris blockage, and any signs of liquid ingress that may have affected the port or surrounding board components, and we replace the port entirely where needed.

Galaxy S26 Plus Repairs
The S26 Plus sits in an interesting spot. You get the large display of the Ultra without the S Pen, the titanium or the top-tier camera array, and the repair pricing reflects that mix. The screen is £249, the same as the Ultra because it is a comparably sized panel. But camera work is £99 against the Ultra’s £149, and back glass and battery both come in cheaper.
All repairs are carried out in-house at our Essex repair centre with a twelve month warranty.
Galaxy S26 Plus Screen Replacement (£249)
A large AMOLED panel bonded beneath toughened glass, replaced as a complete assembly. Bigger displays flex more across their length during an impact, which is why Plus handsets typically crack from an edge where smaller phones crack from a corner.
- Cracks running from an edge or corner impact
- Dead zones where touch no longer registers
- Vertical green, pink or white lines down the panel
- Black or discoloured patches spreading over days
- Ghost touches occurring unprompted
A vertical line appearing on a Galaxy AMOLED with no drop behind it is a recognised failure across the range and sometimes appears after a software update rather than any impact. It is a panel fault and it will not clear by itself. If yours is misbehaving without damage, read phone screen flickering.
The fingerprint reader sits under the display, so a replacement panel must be correctly seated and the sensor tested afterwards. A badly fitted screen leaves you unlocking the phone repeatedly before it takes. We test it before the handset goes back to you. More on our Samsung screen repair page.
Galaxy S26 Plus Battery Replacement (£79)
The Plus exists largely because people want a big screen and the endurance that a bigger chassis allows. That has a consequence years down the line: owners get used to genuinely good battery life and notice the decline sharply when it comes.
- Capacity noticeably below where it started
- Endurance feeling ordinary rather than good
- Sudden shutdowns with charge still displayed
- Charge dropping in steps rather than smoothly
- The handset warm during light use
A large battery masks software drain for a long time, so it is genuinely worth eliminating those causes before replacing hardware. Our guide on why a phone battery drains so fast covers them, and Samsung battery replacement has pricing across the range. If it is running hot, read phone overheating.
Galaxy S26 Plus Back Glass Replacement (£79)
Bonded rear glass removed with a laser separator. A larger phone means a larger bonded area, which makes clean removal harder rather than easier, and the wireless charging coil sitting directly beneath will not survive an attempt with heat and prying tools.
- Loose fragments scratch the camera lenses from behind
- The moisture seal fails as soon as the glass cracks
- Wireless charging becomes intermittent
- Trade-in value drops by more than the repair costs
Our cracked back glass guide explains why home kits make things worse.
Galaxy S26 Plus Charging Repair (£69)
Most Galaxy handsets brought in for charging problems need the USB-C socket cleaning rather than replacing. Compacted lint stops the cable seating fully and we check that first.
Genuine failure means charging at one angle only, cutting out when the phone moves, a loose connector, or charging that works while data transfer does not. Try another cable and mains plug, then read why a phone will not charge. Our Samsung charging repair page covers the work.
Galaxy S26 Plus Camera Repair (£99)
Camera repairs split between cracked outer lens covers and failed modules, at very different costs. The array stands proud of the body, so cover glass absorbs the impact when the phone lands face up, and on a heavier handset it takes rather more of it.
- Cracked lens cover with the modules beneath undamaged
- Blurry images across every shooting mode after a drop
- Rattling or grinding as optical stabilisation fails
- Camera app opening black or crashing on launch
- Ultra-wide or telephoto dead while the main lens works
We check which you actually need rather than quoting for a module by default. Where nothing was dropped, phone camera not working covers the software causes.
Why Large Phones Break Differently
We repair enough Plus and Ultra handsets to see a clear pattern, and it is worth knowing if you have just moved up from a smaller phone.
A big phone carries more mass into the impact point and flexes more across its length, so the same drop that leaves a compact handset scuffed will crack a Plus. It is also a two-handed device for most people, which changes when accidents happen: the drops we see are rarely from pocket height. They happen mid-task, from standing, usually while the owner was reaching for something else. That means a harder landing and more comprehensive damage.
- A case with raised corners matters more on a large phone than a small one
- Raised camera bezels stop the array taking the impact face-up
- Tempered glass protectors are worth it, but check they suit an under-display fingerprint reader
- Cheap thin protectors can stop the fingerprint sensor reading reliably
- Avoid back pockets, where a large chassis is prone to flexing
That fingerprint point catches people out regularly. If your reader stopped working reliably shortly after you fitted a screen protector, the protector is very likely the cause rather than the phone. Peel it off and test before booking anything with us.
Water Damage and Unclear Faults
The S26 Plus carries a water resistance rating, but that describes the phone factory-fresh and undamaged. After a drop or a cracked back panel the seal is compromised, and we would not rely on it.
Liquid damage is assessed rather than quoted. Corrosion spreads unpredictably and the honest answer only comes once the board is open and cleaned. See phone water damage repair, and phone data recovery if the contents matter more than the handset.
Anything else unclear carries a £15 diagnostic, deducted from the repair if you proceed. Phone keeps restarting is a sensible first read for intermittent faults.
Turnaround, Warranty and Booking
In-store repairs are usually completed within one to three hours on the same day and you are welcome to wait. Mail-in repairs are typically finished within eight to twelve hours of arriving and returned tracked, most customers seeing their phone in two to three working days. Send-back postage is free and Klarna is available at checkout.
Every eligible repair includes a 12 month warranty on parts and labour. Faults relating to our work are put right at no cost. New accidental damage, liquid damage and unrelated faults are excluded.

We also repair the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Plus, with the full range on our Samsung repairs page.
Galaxy S26 Plus Repairs: What Owners Ask
Why do large phones like the S26 Plus crack more easily?
A bigger phone carries more mass into the impact point and flexes further across its length, so the same drop that scuffs a compact handset will crack a Plus. It is also two-handed for most people, so the drops we see happen mid-task from standing height rather than out of a pocket. That means a harder landing and more comprehensive damage.
Does the S26 Plus screen cost the same as the Ultra?
Yes, both are £249, because they use comparably sized panels with similar sourcing costs. Where the Plus saves you is elsewhere: camera work is £99 against £149 on the Ultra, and back glass and battery both come in cheaper. Over the life of the phone that adds up meaningfully.
My fingerprint reader became unreliable after a screen protector. What now?
Peel it off and test. The reader works through the display and a thick or cheap protector can stop it reading properly, while an air bubble underneath causes intermittent failures. This is one of the most common Galaxy complaints we get and it is free to rule out. Only book a repair if the sensor still fails with the protector removed.
What case should I use on an S26 Plus?
One with raised corners and a raised bezel around the camera array. On a large phone the corners take the impacts that actually crack panels, and a raised camera bezel stops the array making contact first when the phone lands face up. Also check any tempered glass protector is rated for an under-display fingerprint reader before fitting it.
There is a vertical line on my S26 Plus display. Will an update fix it?
No. A line appearing on a Galaxy AMOLED panel with no drop behind it is a known hardware failure, and it frequently shows up just after a software update, which is why people assume it is a bug. It is not. It widens over weeks and only a new panel resolves it.
Is a battery replacement worth it on an S26 Plus?
At £79, yes, and it is the repair most Plus owners eventually need. The Plus is bought for endurance, so a degraded cell takes away the main reason you chose it. A large battery also masks software drain for a long time, so it is worth checking which apps are responsible before booking, in case that is the real problem.
