Galaxy S25 Ultra Repairs

The S25 Ultra is one of the most repaired flagships in our workshop, partly because so many were sold and partly because it is the kind of phone people keep rather than trade in. Screen £279, camera £99, battery £79, back glass £69, charging £69, diagnostics £15.

Galaxy S25 Ultra Screen Replacement (£279)

A large AMOLED panel bonded beneath toughened glass and replaced as a complete assembly. On bonded Samsung flagship displays there is no realistic glass-only repair, and a quote that sounds unusually cheap generally means a refurbished assembly rather than a new part.

• Cracks radiating from a corner or edge impact
• Dead zones where touch no longer registers
• Vertical green, pink or white lines down the panel
• Black or discoloured patches spreading over days
• Ghost touches occurring with nobody holding the phone

The vertical line one is worth dwelling on, because it is the single most misunderstood Samsung fault we deal with. A line appearing on a Galaxy AMOLED with no drop behind it is a known panel failure across the range, and it very often shows up shortly after a software update, which leads people to assume it is a bug that will be patched. It will not. It is hardware, and it spreads. If that matches yours, read phone screen flickering and then bring it in.

Galaxy S25 Ultra Battery Replacement (£79)

By now most S25 Ultras have been through enough charge cycles to show it, and this is the repair that makes the largest difference to daily use. A big, bright, high refresh display draws steadily, and Ultra owners work these phones hard.

• Capacity noticeably below where it started, in Settings then Battery and device care
• Sudden shutdowns with charge still displayed
• Charge dropping in steps rather than smoothly
• The handset warm during undemanding use
• Needing a charger by mid-afternoon where it once lasted the day

Rule out software before paying for hardware, because background activity and a recent update imitate a failing cell convincingly. Galaxy S25 Ultra Camera Repair (£99)

The Ultra carries the most complex rear array Samsung builds, including a long optical zoom using a folded lens arrangement that sits differently in the housing to a conventional module. Alignment matters on these, which is why we would steer you away from anyone treating it as a routine swap.

• Cracked outer lens cover with the modules beneath undamaged
• Blurry images across every shooting mode after a drop
• Rattling or grinding as optical stabilisation fails
• Camera app opening black or crashing on launch
• The zoom lens dead while the main and ultra-wide still work

Galaxy S25 Ultra Back Glass Replacement (£69)

Bonded rear glass removed with a laser separator rather than heat and prying tools. There is a large bonded surface area on an Ultra, which makes clean removal harder, and the wireless charging coil directly beneath rarely survives an improvised attempt.

• Loose fragments scratch the camera lenses from behind
• The moisture seal fails as soon as the glass cracks
• Wireless charging becomes intermittent
• Trade-in value drops by more than the repair costs

Galaxy S25 Ultra Charging Repair (£69)

Most Galaxy handsets brought in for charging faults need the USB-C socket cleaning rather than replacing. Compacted lint stops the cable seating fully, and we check that before quoting anything.

Genuine port failure means charging at one angle only, cutting out when the phone moves, a connector that feels loose, or charging that works while data transfer does not. S Pen Problems

The S Pen silo is a hole cut through an otherwise sealed chassis, and it is a known route for dust and moisture on any Note-style Galaxy. If the pen no longer registers, will not eject, or the phone stops detecting it being removed, that is usually the silo assembly or its connector rather than the pen itself. We diagnose and quote it individually.

Water Damage and Unclear Faults

The S25 Ultra has a water resistance rating, but ratings describe a phone factory-fresh and undamaged. A drop, a cracked back panel or a worn S Pen silo all compromise it, and we would not rely on it after any of those.

Anything else unclear carries a £15 diagnostic, deducted from the repair if you go ahead. Random restarts, signal loss, distorted audio and unexplained drain all sit here, and phone keeps restarting is a sensible first read.

Turnaround, Warranty and Booking

In-store repairs are usually completed within one to three hours on the same day and you are welcome to wait. Mail-in repairs are typically finished within eight to twelve hours of arriving and returned by tracked delivery, most customers seeing their phone in two to three working days. Every eligible repair includes a 12 month warranty on parts and labour. Faults relating to our work are put right at no cost. New accidental damage, liquid damage and unrelated faults are excluded.
