Galaxy A32 Repairs from £55

The A32 is one of the most commonly misquoted phones we deal with, and it is worth explaining why before anything else. Screen £75, and rear panel, camera, battery and charging all £55.

The A32 4G and A32 5G Are Different Phones

This catches people out constantly and it costs them money, so read this section first.

Samsung sold two versions of the A32 with the same name. The 4G model uses a Super AMOLED display. The 5G model uses an LCD. They are not the same part, they do not fit each other, and they do not cost the same to source. A shop quoting you a single A32 screen price without asking which one you have is guessing.

• Check Settings, then About phone, and read the full model number
• The 4G model has an AMOLED panel with deeper blacks
• The 5G model has an LCD panel and a different frame
• The camera layouts differ between the two as well
• Fingerprint reader placement is not the same on both

If you are unsure, bring the phone in and we will identify it in seconds. It is far better to spend ten seconds checking than to agree a price and find the part is wrong when the phone is already in pieces.

Galaxy A32 Battery Replacement (£55)

Whichever version you have, this is the repair the A32 most often needs. These are several years old now and original cells are well past their useful capacity.

• Capacity noticeably below where it started, under Settings then Battery and device care
• Not lasting the day where it once managed comfortably
• Sudden shutdowns with charge still displayed, worse in cold weather
• Charge dropping in steps rather than smoothly
• The handset warm during light use

Check what is actually draining it before spending anything. Settings, then Battery and device care, then Battery will list which apps used the most since the last full charge. Galaxy A32 Screen Replacement (£75)

Replaced as a complete assembly whichever panel type yours has. Because the two versions use different display technologies, the symptoms differ too, which is another reason to establish the model first.

• Cracks radiating from a corner or edge impact, on either version
• Dead zones where touch no longer registers
• On the AMOLED model, vertical green or pink lines and black bleeding
• On the LCD model, white or bright blotches and backlight failure
• Ghost touches occurring with nobody holding the phone

That LCD backlight symptom is worth knowing. If your A32 5G appears completely dead but you can just make out the home screen with a torch shone at it, the phone is fine and only the backlight has failed. It is still a screen replacement, but it is not a dead handset. On the AMOLED version, a vertical line appearing with no drop is the known Galaxy panel failure that no software update will fix. Galaxy A32 Charging Repair (£55)

Most charging complaints on phones this age are compacted lint in the USB-C socket stopping the cable seating, not a failed port. Clearing it is not a chargeable repair here.

Galaxy A32 Rear Panel Replacement (£55)

The A32 uses a composite rear panel rather than glass, which is genuinely good news in a drop. It cracks or scuffs rather than shattering into fragments, and it survives falls that would destroy a glass-backed flagship.

• Cracks and deep scuffs rather than spidering across the whole back
• The moisture seal compromised once the panel is damaged
• Debris reaching the camera lenses from behind
• Sharp edges where a panel has split

Galaxy A32 Camera Repair (£55)

The A32 uses separate lens rings set into the rear panel rather than a raised camera block, so there is less to catch when the phone lands face up and damage tends to stay confined to one ring.

• Cracked lens cover on one lens with the others undamaged
• Blurry images across every shooting mode after a drop
• Camera app opening black or crashing on launch
• Focus hunting continuously without settling
• Ultra-wide dead while the main lens works normally

Water Damage and Unclear Faults

The A32 has no water resistance rating in either version, which is worth stating plainly because a lot of owners assume every modern phone has one. Treat it as completely unsealed.

Liquid damage is assessed rather than quoted, and on a handset of this value we will give you an honest view on whether the repair is economic rather than taking your money to establish that it is not.
