Galaxy S21 Plus Repairs from £55

The S21 Plus is one of the better value Galaxy handsets still in circulation. A screen is £149, a battery £55, and back panel work is £55, which is the cheapest rear repair anywhere in the S21 line.

Galaxy S21 Plus Battery Replacement (£55)

This comes first because on a phone of this age it is nearly always the answer. The Plus was bought for the endurance a larger chassis allows, and a degraded cell takes that advantage straight back.

• Capacity noticeably below where it started, under Settings then Battery and device care
• Endurance feeling ordinary rather than good
• Sudden shutdowns with charge still displayed, worse in cold weather
• Charge dropping in steps rather than smoothly
• The handset warm during undemanding use

Galaxy S21 Plus Screen Replacement (£149)

A large flat AMOLED panel bonded beneath toughened glass, replaced as a complete assembly. The S21 and S21 Plus both moved to flat displays while the Ultra kept curved edges, and the flat design is meaningfully tougher because a side impact meets the frame rather than active display.

• Cracks running from an edge or corner impact
• Dead zones where touch no longer registers
• Vertical green, pink or white lines down the panel
• Black or discoloured patches spreading over several days
• Ghost touches occurring unprompted

The vertical green line matters on this era of Galaxy. It appears with no drop and no water, frequently just after a software update, and people wait for a patch that never comes. Galaxy S21 Plus Rear Panel Replacement (£55)

The rear panel is bonded to the frame and removed with a laser separator rather than heat and prying tools. The wireless charging coil sits directly beneath and will not survive an improvised attempt.

Galaxy S21 Plus Charging Repair (£55)

On a phone this age expect a USB-C socket packed with years of compacted lint, and it is very often the entire problem rather than a failed port. Clearing it is not a chargeable repair here, and we will tell you if that is all it needed.

Genuine failure means charging that works only at one angle, cuts out when the phone is moved, a connector that feels loose, or charging that works while data transfer refuses. The S21 generation introduced the wraparound camera housing that flows into the frame rather than sitting as a separate raised block. That changes how it takes damage: impacts tend to hit the housing edge and the individual lens covers rather than lifting the whole array.

• Rattling or grinding as optical stabilisation fails
• Camera app opening black or crashing on launch

Is an S21 Plus Still Worth Repairing?

On a single fault, almost always. A £55 battery on an otherwise sound S21 Plus buys years of useful life for very little money, and it is the repair that makes the biggest practical difference on a phone this age.

Where it becomes marginal is a handset needing three or more separate things at once, or one that has already had liquid in it. We will say so plainly rather than quoting for everything and letting you work it out afterwards.

Water Damage and Unclear Faults

The S21 Plus has a water resistance rating, but that describes the phone factory-fresh and undamaged, and the seals on a handset this age have degraded regardless. Ratings also cover fresh water rather than sea water.
