Galaxy S21 Repairs from £55

The standard S21 is one of the most sensible older Galaxies to keep running. A screen is £135, a battery £55, and charging work £55. For a phone that still handles everything most people need, those numbers make repair the obvious call.

All work is carried out at our own bench in Essex with a twelve month warranty on parts and labour.

Galaxy S21 Battery Replacement (£55)

This goes first because on an S21 it is nearly always the answer. Compact flagships have less internal volume than their Plus and Ultra siblings, so the standard S21 has always worked its battery harder, and by now most have enough cycles behind them to show it clearly.

• Capacity noticeably below where it started, under Settings then Battery and device care
• Dead by mid-afternoon on ordinary use
• Sudden shutdowns with charge still displayed, particularly in cold weather
• Charge dropping in large steps rather than smoothly
• The handset warm during light use

If your S21 has become a phone you charge twice a day, £55 will very likely resolve that entirely. Eliminate software first, because replacing a healthy cell achieves nothing. Galaxy S21 Screen Replacement (£135)

A flat AMOLED panel bonded beneath toughened glass, replaced as a complete assembly. The S21 and S21 Plus both moved to flat displays while only the Ultra kept curved edges, and the flat design is meaningfully more robust because a side impact meets the frame rather than active display.

• Cracks radiating from a corner or edge impact
• Dead zones where touch no longer registers
• Vertical green, pink or white lines down the panel
• Black or discoloured patches spreading over days
• Ghost touches occurring with nobody holding the phone

The vertical green line is worth understanding on this era of Galaxy. It appears with no drop, no water and no obvious cause, very often within days of a software update, and owners quite reasonably assume a patch will fix it. It will not. It is a hardware failure in the panel, it widens over the following weeks, and only a new display resolves it. Read phone screen flickering if that matches yours.

Galaxy S21 Rear Panel Replacement (£59)

One genuine advantage the standard S21 has over its more expensive siblings: Samsung fitted it with a composite rear panel rather than glass. It was criticised at launch as a cost saving, but in practice it survives drops that would shatter a glass back, and a lot of S21s in daily use still have unmarked rears years on.

When it does need replacing, the panel is bonded to the frame and removed with a laser separator. The wireless charging coil sits directly beneath and will not survive an improvised attempt with heat and prying tools.

• The moisture seal fails as soon as the panel is damaged
• Wireless charging becomes unreliable
• Debris can reach the camera lenses from behind
• Damage tends to be scuffs and cracks rather than shattering

Galaxy S21 Charging Repair (£55)

On a phone of this age expect a USB-C socket well packed with compacted lint, and it is frequently the entire problem rather than a failed port. Clearing it is not a chargeable repair here, and we will tell you if that is all it needed.

Genuine failure means charging that works only at one angle, cuts out when the phone is moved, a connector that feels loose, or charging that works while data transfer refuses. Galaxy S21 Camera Repair (£59)

The S21 introduced the wraparound camera housing that flows into the frame rather than sitting as a separate raised block. Impacts tend to hit the housing edge and individual lens covers rather than lifting the whole array, which usually keeps the repair cheaper than it looks.

• Cracked lens cover on one lens with the others undamaged
• Blurry images across every shooting mode after a drop
• Rattling or grinding as optical stabilisation fails
• Camera app opening black or crashing on launch
• Ultra-wide dead while the main lens works normally

Water Damage and Unclear Faults

The S21 carries a water resistance rating, but that describes the phone factory-fresh and undamaged, and on a handset this age the seals have degraded regardless. Ratings also cover fresh water rather than sea water, which is worth knowing anywhere near the coast.

In-store repairs are usually completed within one to three hours on the same day and you are welcome to wait. Mail-in repairs are typically finished within eight to twelve hours of arriving and returned by tracked delivery, most customers seeing their phone in two to three working days.
