Galaxy S25 FE Repairs

The Fan Edition exists to give you most of a flagship for noticeably less money, and the repair pricing follows the same logic. A screen is £169, the cheapest in the entire S25 line, and back glass is £65. For a phone bought on value grounds, that keeps the maths sensible when something goes wrong.

Galaxy S25 FE Screen Replacement (£169)

An AMOLED panel bonded beneath toughened glass and replaced as a complete assembly. At £169 this is one of the more affordable flagship-class screen repairs we offer, and it is comfortably the repair we quote most often on this model.

• Cracks radiating from a corner or edge impact
• Dead zones where touch no longer registers
• Vertical green, pink or white lines down the panel
• Black or discoloured patches spreading over days
• Ghost touches occurring with nobody holding the phone

Worth knowing about the vertical line, because it is so often misread as a software problem. On Galaxy AMOLED panels a line can appear with no drop behind it, frequently just after an update, and people wait for a patch that never comes. It is a hardware fault in the panel and it spreads over time. If that matches yours, read phone screen flickering, then bring the phone in.

Galaxy S25 FE Battery Replacement (£65)

This is the repair that most often brings an FE back to life. These phones tend to be bought as sensible long-term purchases and kept for years, which means batteries reach the end of their useful capacity while the rest of the handset is still perfectly good.

• Capacity noticeably below where it started, under Settings then Battery and device care
• Sudden shutdowns with charge still displayed
• Charge dropping in steps rather than smoothly
• The handset warm during light use
• Needing a charger by early afternoon where it once lasted the day

Eliminate software first, because replacing a healthy cell achieves nothing. Galaxy S25 FE Back Glass Replacement (£65)

Bonded rear glass removed with a laser separator rather than heat and prying tools. At £65 there is little reason to live with a cracked back, which is just as well, because the damage is not purely cosmetic.

• Loose fragments scratch the camera lenses from behind
• The moisture seal fails as soon as the glass cracks
• Wireless charging becomes unreliable
• Sharp edges are a genuine nuisance on a phone in daily use

Galaxy S25 FE Charging Repair (£59)

Check the simple thing first. Compacted lint at the bottom of the USB-C socket stops the cable seating fully, and it accounts for a large proportion of the phones brought to us as charging faults. Clearing it is not a chargeable repair here, and we will tell you if that is all it needed.

Genuine port failure means charging that works only at one angle, cuts out when the phone is moved, a connector that feels loose, or charging that works while data transfer refuses. Galaxy S25 FE Camera Repair (£79)

Camera work splits into replacing a cracked outer lens cover and replacing the module underneath, at meaningfully different costs. We establish which you need rather than quoting the expensive option by default.

• Cracked lens cover with the modules beneath undamaged
• Blurry images across every shooting mode after a drop
• Rattling or grinding as optical stabilisation fails
• Camera app opening black or crashing on launch
• Ultra-wide dead while the main lens works normally

Water Damage and Unclear Faults

The S25 FE carries a water resistance rating, but that describes the phone factory-fresh and undamaged. Once it has been dropped, or the back glass has cracked, the seal is compromised and we would not rely on it. Ratings cover fresh water rather than sea water, which matters anywhere near the coast.

Liquid damage is assessed rather than quoted, and on a handset in this price bracket we will give you an honest view on whether the repair is economic rather than taking your money to establish that it is not. Anything else unclear carries a £15 diagnostic, deducted from the repair if you proceed. Phone keeps restarting is a sensible first read for intermittent faults.

Turnaround, Warranty and Booking

In-store repairs are usually completed within one to three hours on the same day and you are welcome to wait. Mail-in repairs are typically finished within eight to twelve hours of arriving and returned by tracked delivery, most customers seeing their phone in two to three working days. Every eligible repair includes a 12 month warranty on parts and labour. An FE gets exactly the same cover as a flagship, which we think is how it ought to work. New accidental damage, liquid damage and unrelated faults are excluded.
